1.  SHAD Program - July 2021


Shad Canada is an annual Canadian summer enrichment program for high-achieving high school students in July. Shad focuses on both academic learning through lectures, workshops, labs and group projects as-well as the development of an individual and community.

▪  Participated in hands-on learning;
▪  Collaborated in design teams;
▪  Explored post-secondary institutions;
▪  Engaged with academic and entrepreneurial mentors;
▪  Met some of the most passionate dreamers, collaborated and built meaningful relationships outside of Ontario.
▪  Joined the team to work on #STEAM4Good solution which will help us treat fresh water with respect.

2.  JA Company Program, 2019 - 2020


JA Canada is the largest youth business education organization. Since 1955, JA Canada has been inspiring and preparing youth to succeed by providing opportunities to learn financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness skills with engaging programs and the help of dedicated volunteers;

▪  Developed fundamental skills in budgeting, investing and creating financial plans;
▪ Gained first-hand experience in running a successful business;
▪ Gathered financial data, evaluate investment options;
▪ Learnt about teamwork, responsibility and business ethics;
▪ Analyzed financial records and public financial reports;
▪ Set sales goals and made effective sales pitches;
▪ Learnt how to communicate, network, interview for jobs and collaborate with diverse groups of people;

3.  Computer Science Project - Tetris - Grade 11, 2020


Tetris is a tile-matching video game created by Soviet software engineer Alexey Pajitnov in 1984. Tetris is primarily composed of a field of play in which pieces of different geometric forms, called "tetriminos", descend from the top of the field. The objective of the game is to use the pieces to create as many horizontal lines of blocks as possible.

▪  Analyzed requirements of the Computer Science CPT project;
▪ Worked on high-level pseudo code of the Tetris game; Made a draft of flow chart of the program;
▪ Analyzed the algorithm of the Tetris; Figured out how to build internal data structure to represents Tetris components such as Board, Tetris Piece, Point, Colors, Images, and so on; ▪  Built a prototype to implement core functionalities of Tetris;
▪  Designed and implemented the project using Tetris Algorithm;
▪  Created User Interface and images using Java Swing and Image utilities;
▪  Built the main frame of Tetris UI, including Board Panel, Score Panel, Control Panel, and Next Piece Panel using Java Swing;
▪  Refactored Tetris data structure to support different sizes of Board Windows.
